We are making use of two payment systems: Sage Pay and PayFast. It is possible that you may have some of the following issues:
- You made use of a debit card and not a credit card on Sage Pay
- You maxed out your payment limit
- Your card is in arrears
- Your card went over its expiry date
- There is a notice (fraud, theft, etc.) on the card
- The credit card account has been suspended
There is also a possibility that the system may be off-line due to system problems at Sage Pay, PayFast or your bank. For inquiries, you can call your own bank's helpline. Alternatively, we suggest that you rather do an EFT payment, a payment at a bank branch or pay directly at a retail outlet such as Shoprite, Checkers, House and Home or the Post Office. The details can be found on the Sage Pay or PayFast payment portal. (Just remember to reference your correct P-Number on Sage Pay or PF-reference number on PayFast when doing the payment for EFT/ Bank branch/ ATM Payments).
For more information regarding P-Numbers and PF-reference numbers, consult this article:

Alternative solution: You can make use of the VISA Checkout or Masterpass services to use your Debit Card
